Die Leitung liegt bei David McVicar, der international zu den beliebtesten Opernregisseuren unserer Zeit zählt und an der Scala bereits ein breites Repertoire an Titeln auf die Bühne gebracht hat. Die Gesangsbesetzung bietet bedeutende Wagner-Stimmen wie Michael Volle, der im gesamten Zyklus als Wotan auftritt, Camilla Nylund als Brünnhilde und Klaus Florian Vogt als Siegfried.
