In the Arena di Verona, you will not only experience operas at the highest level - you will also enjoy them in a unique atmosphere. The Arena is not only an exceptionally well-preserved Roman amphitheater, but also the second largest surviving ancient theater after the Colosseum in Rome. Its size is quite impressive: the theater has a length of approx. 138 meters, a width of approx. 110 meters and a height of exactly 24.1 meters. Today, the 44 tiers of the auditorium can accommodate 22,000 spectators.
