Palais Garnier

Bienvenue à Paris

Palais Garnier

The historic opera house in Paris is one of the city's most famous sights and was named “Palais Garnier” after its architect Charles Garnier. The ornate interior design shows the splendor of the Second Empire in perfection. Opened in 1875, the building is not only an architectural landmark in Paris, but also an important opera house in the history of music thanks to its style-defining premieres and productions. Since the construction of the Opéra Bastille (1989), the Opéra de Paris company has used both locations for its opera and ballet performances. Make your visit to an opera performance a truly exclusive and unforgettable experience. We will of course be happy to help you plan your individual opera trip.
